For decades we have been growing Acer of exceptional quality in the fertile Boskoop peat soil. In addition to open ground, we mainly grow Acer in greenhouses and on container fields. It differs per specie where the Acer grows best and becomes strongest. Due to our years of experience, we know this per specie and each specie also has a different way of growing. As a result, we have been able to optimize growth, which means that minimal chemical cropprotection is required and yet high quality plants leave our nursery.

Another important factor for the strong quality is that we do not sell Acer from cuttings, but only grafted Acer on vigorous rootstocks. This makes the plant stronger and more resistant to varying weather conditions. For our rootstocks we only use the most vigorous selections of Acer palmatum.
